Who WE are:

The Union Studios is a premiere boutique fitness studio specializing in Spin, Yoga, TRX, and Total Body Conditioning (TBC). As a unified team, we are committed to creating an inclusive, connected community so that every athlete feels supported, encouraged, and celebrated in their fitness journey!

Outside of our four main sweat styles, we also offer pop-up classes with guest instructors and workshops centered around yoga & meditation. We also host outdoor classes throughout the summer, along with private soirees year-round.

Your Role and Responsibilities as an Instructor:

  • Be your most authentic self in every class!

  • Flexibility to teach at least 3 total classes a week at both studio locations at Union West and Union North in Spokane.

  • Commitment to teaching 1 Saturday/month.

  • Curate fresh and unique music playlists as an integral part of you and your class experience.

  • Build community! With our front desk, athletes, neighbors, fellow instructors and studios, and the larger Spokane community!

  • CPR and First Aid Certified.

Your Commitment:

  • Commitment to embody the Union values you teach and bring to class in and out of the studio.

  • Commitment to create a safe, connected, and inclusive space for every body regardless of background.

  • Commitment to the responsibility, privilege, and impact you have as an instructor and leader in the community.

  • Commitment to grow, get curious & set new healthy boundaries within oneself.

Requirements to teach for each sweat style:

YOGA

  • Yoga alliance 200 hour RYT required. Passionate about Vinyasa and Recovery style yoga formats! In-house one-on-one training for 1 month +, community classes then teaching on your own.

SPIN

  • High energy and wildly passionate about cycling! Dedicated, determined, and coachable. In studio 3-6 month customized training program created in-house (trained over 40 instructors to date spanning over 10 years, who have gone on to open their own studios and work at notable brands).

TRX

  • Personal training certification and/or extensive education in exercise science/kinesiology/physiology and/or health or wellness. Certification from TRX. In-house training 1-3+ months.

TBC

  • Personal training certification and/or extensive education in exercise science/kinesiology/physiology and/or health or wellness. In-house training 1-3+ months.
